We Believe – The Absolute Authority of Scripture
November 6 to December 18, 2016
In this series the absolute primacy of the Word of God above all else is emphasized; the love of God’s Word is highlighted as the first sign of being part of an apostolic community because God’s Word is the absolute center of everything we do. The Bible and its sixty-six books, in its original form, is the fully inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God. The Scriptures are sacred and complete and supreme and the final authority on all matters. The apostles play a clear role in laying the doctrinal foundation for the building of the saints in the Body of Christ, the family of God. Upon these foundations, the grace of God, through the revelation of Christ is dispensed to the whole Body of Christ. Therefore the ministry of an apostle establishes the biblical framework by setting in place the elementary doctrines and the instructions for the building of the Body Christ.
