Central to this Kingdom paradigm is the principle of honour, which calls believers to dedicate themselves first to God, prioritise His Kingdom, and demonstrate generosity toward the poor and the advancement of His purposes instead of pursuing self-interest or succumbing to the fear of lack. True prosperity is therefore expressed through simple obedience, childlike faith, and a state of makarismos—the blessedness of resting confidently in God’s provision and the finished work of Christ. As believers overcome anxiety and the tyranny of mammon, they are liberated from the religious treadmill of performance and become trusted administrators of heaven’s spiritual and material resources, investing in others without seeking personal reward and trusting God to supply every need according to His covenant purposes.
