From Ritual to Revelation
 Freedom of the New Covenant

by Thamo Naidoo | KZN Apostolic Economic Conference 2026

In this session, Thamo expounds the transformative implications of the New Covenant, demonstrating how believers have been liberated from a legalistic system of religious obligation into the freedom, dignity, and responsibility of mature sonship. He contends that the Old Testament, while indispensable as a prophetic shadow and spiritual tutor, was never intended to imprison believers within ritualistic observance but to prepare them for the greater realities revealed in Christ. Consequently, spiritual maturity is evidenced not by external conformity but by the internalisation of divine principles, where practices such as giving flow from revelation, conviction, and grace rather than obligation or fear. Central to this teaching is the pursuit of spiritual literacy—the diligent searching of Scripture to uncover the mysteries God has intentionally concealed for those who seek Him. As believers embrace a revelation-based understanding of God’s economy, they transition from a transactional “wages” mentality to a culture of grace, stewardship, and generosity, becoming faithful administrators of heaven’s resources who advance God’s Kingdom and bring transformation to both individuals and communities. #blessed
