The Firstborn Principle

In this series on The Firstborn Son, Pastor Thamo establishes and focuses on the Firstborn principle. This session provides a captivating study surrounding where our firstborn identity comes from and the purpose for which we were created. Unraveling these fundamental truths is critical if we want to develop and enjoy a true and intimate relationship with God. He draws on literary types in biblical interpretation and explores various biblical figures to demonstrate how God uses natural settings to communicate spiritual truths. This teaching will enable an individual to read the scriptures more accurately and hence gain an informed perspective of what God intended for the Church of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the Template: The example of how we should function as sons

The firstborn principle provides us with a deep understanding on the intent and design of God for our lives, and how we should function as His sons in creation. It focuses on how Jesus becomes the template, the prototype and the example for us to follow and draws on the fact that the same seed that was dropped into Mary’s womb is the same incorruptible, pure and undefiled seed dropped into each one of us, with the ultimate purpose that, the Christ child must become the Son of God in each one of us, as we acknowledge that we are a unique masterpiece of Gods creativity.
